What others think
I have known, and been guided by, Kate for over ten years and I have often wondered if there are two Kates as she is always there when needed ! I started a Motor Sport Club in The Bahamas in 2014 from scratch and Kate guided me faultlessly through the often complicated processes of becoming a recognised and affiliated National Club. When we then developed our Karting Club Kate went beyond the call of duty to ensure we did everything correctly, on time and on budget in conformation with the regulations. Kate knows what we don’t know we don’t know ! Kate’s world wide contacts, extensive knowledge base and amazing work ethic, allied to a genuine human touch, would be a huge asset to any client large or small.
Kate and I have worked on many successful projects over the last 10 years. These ranged from training delivery of motorsport officials, young drivers and national governing bodies in addition to organizing seminars. Her help and support of national motorsport authorities around the world is well recognized and appreciated by all in the business. Among her abilities are excellent attention to detail with project management and logistic planning as well as her determination to complete all tasks to a high professional standard. I have always found Kate to be a great communicator who never shies away from an issue and responds instantly to any client request.
Throughout my time working with Kate, I have found her to be highly diligent and committed to the highest standards. Kate reported to me whilst I was Secretary General of the FIA Institute, and during this time her performance was excellent, earning her a number of merited promotions. Kate’s experience in motor sport is extensive, and she’s able to work well in a team environment (including leading others) as well as work independently. One of her key strengths is developing strong working relationships with external stakeholders, particularly in a membership context. Kate is highly respected for her professional approach, integrity, and her commitment to get the job done. I’d have no hesitation in having her as part of my team again!
I have worked with Kate for more than a decade, firstly at the FIA Institute for Motor Sport Safety and Sustainability and then at the FIA. Kate is extremely competent, hard working and has great experience working with the FIA’s member associations and clubs around the globe. She interacts extremely well with members at all levels and displays empathy and understanding of those from very diverse backgrounds. Kate is a committed and well-organized project leader, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Over many years, Kate has demonstrated her ability to plan, implement and oversee projects from start to finish.
Kate is a wonderful person to work with. She was Office and Editorial Manager when I ran the Red Bulletin magazine. Indeed she was much more than that as she was also in charge of the wonderful listed offices and building we had in London’s Soho Square. She also managed to keep in line an eclectic and multinational blend of designers, writers, and photographers, and a few ‘prima donnas’ too! Organised and efficient, she has to gift of anticipating potential issues and troubleshoots with ease and grace. From the Red Bulletin she moved to the Federation International de l’Automobile where she has rightly risen through the ranks and made a great and deserved success of herself.
